A Spy, A Detective, A Farmer’s Girlfriend and George Washington Walk Into A Bar: WGI’s “Change” will host 4 Amazing Actors!

Each year, the WGI Gala in New York City host some of New York’s finest actors, performing the work of our workshop attendees. This year is shaping up to be one of the best ever, as we bring Mandy Patinkin, Tony Shaloub, Brooke Adams and Chris Jackson to the stage.
Viewers of Showtime’s Homeland will know Patinkin as Saul Berenson. Broadway fans will know him from Evita, Sunday in the Park With George, Falsettos, The Wild Party, The Shadow Box, and his sold out Concerts, including Dress Casual and An evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin.
Tony Shaloub is best known as TV’s Monk, as well as Antonio Scarpacci in Wings. He has appeared on the “big screen” in Barton Fink, Big Night, Men in Black, and The Man Who Wasn’t There, among many others. Most recently, he appeared in the musical The Band’s Visit at the Atlantic Theater Company.
Brooke Adams appeared in Days of Heaven  and the remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.  She starred in Cuba, The Dead Zone and Gas Food Lodging. On Broadway, she has appeared in The Cherry Orchard, Lend Me a Tenor and The Heidi Chronicles.
Christopher Jackson created the role of George Washington in Hamilton, for which he won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. He also appeared on Broadway in In The Heights, The Lion King, Holler If You Hear Me, and Memphis. On TV, he appears in the CBS drama Bull, and has appeared on The Good Wife, Person of Interest and Nurse Jackie.
